Episode Synopsis
Grissom and his crew handle their highest profile case to date when the city's former chief of detectives is slain execution-style in his house following a wild party. Missing from the residence are the chief's trophy wife and their 7-year-old daughter. When several motorists report seeing the girl along an access road near Miami, Catherine and Warrick fly there and meet that city's top CSI, Horatio Caine, who aids them in the investigation.

A fun episode, with of course a very horrible side. Always when Catherine investigates a case involving a child, the episode rule!!! And it's fun to see them in Miami, with the Miami cast!!!

This was an absoultly amazing episode, with the whole mixing of CSI and CSI:Miami! I've watched it three times in just a week, and I think it was a great way to introduce CSI:Miami! Great!

A perfect way to begin a hit show! Great chemistry between all of the cast members of the two shows. I've been hooked on CSI Miami ever since this aired. I felt a little cheated that I didn't get to see Horatio and Grissom interact though.

Hmm I have problems with the blonde Miami womans credibility as a CSI- don´t remember her name- (why would she wear her extremely long hair out at a crime scene for ex). Otherwise ok episode.

the plot line was interesting and I liked how they used this for the spin off for miami, but the Miami CSI's bugged me. I found that they had no emotion and that the girl was almost robotic with no emotion towards anyone or thing. Personally, I find CSI L
