Episode Synopsis
Grissom visits a small Nevada town to investigate the death of a man whose severed head was found by a dog in some nearby woods; and Catherine receives an unexpected and unwelcome gift from her dad, which prompts her to visit him.

I love this episode because Grissem was in this one alot. I love when he first hears about the head in the bucket and says to the coroner, "I heard you got some head." I love it!!!

Half interesting, half boring. This chapter is nice because Grissom loses his forensic tool box and he has to buy new tools or improve tools in a shop. Imaginative, but not too funny.

I liked it, especially Grissom and Catherine on the phone... but I have to tell ya, I tried to do the thing with the pencil leds to get finger prints and it didn't work... I was pretty disappointed...

Good episode mainly because Grissom went completely solo and had to improvise with a side of genious when his kit get's stolen. The hicks just won't give him a break. And the side plot, why won't Braun just leave Cath alone.

I really liked the story and that Gris was out there on his own in some backwater town investigating one of the locals. I still think Gris should have brought obstruction of justice charges against the sherrif.
