Tessa Allen (born Aug. 6 1997) was first nationally recognized when she appeared in the McDonald's Happy Meal commercial for The Tigger Movie. This commercial was not only widely popular, it is also the longest running McDonald's Happy Meal Toy commercial to date!
After landing many more commercials, at age 4 Tessa was selected from hundreds of young girls to play the role of Jennifer Lopez's daughter Gracie in the motion picture Enough. She impressed the cast and crew with he ablitily to cry on cue and just how cheerful and friendly she was.
Immediately after Enough finished filming, in 2001 Tessa won the role of Hannah Hansen in NBC's Providence. Tessa was the 3rd Hannah and was the first non-twin to play the role. Tessa continued to play Hannah along side Mike Farrell(M*A*S*H), Melina Kanakaredes( CSI:NY), Paula Cale(Brian's Song) and Seth Peterson(Can't Hardly Wait) until the show ended in December 2002.
In May 2003, Tessa made a guest appearence on CSI:Miami as Emma Kaye, a young girl abducted by an escaped child molester, in the season finale 'Body Count'.
Tessa continued to book commercials, and in February 2004 Tessa won a 3 episode guest spot on soap General Hopsital as Molly Farrell, a young girl with her brother trapped in the hotel fire. After this short appearence in March 2004, the producers and execs called Tessa back to play the recurring role of Lesley Lu Spencer. For Tessa to play this role they actually had to de-age the character...a soap rarety. Tessa first episode as Lulu aired in April 2004 and her last (will air) aired in October 2005 when the character was aged to 15 years old.
Tessa is still booking commercials (watch for her in new dodge and charmin commercials) and going for more. Remember Tessa because she is one young face in Hollywood that you have not seen the last of.
